Board Update – CEO Departure

The Western Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute Ltd (“WAALI”) chairperson Robyn Smith Walley today announced that the WAALI CEO, Ms. Johanna Ward has tendered her resignation for personal reasons.

 

Johanna has been with WAALI for approximately 12 months and in that time, has constructively recruited key personnel for WAALI and actively engaged in fundraising and operational course delivery.

 

“We respect and support Jo’s decision and wish her well for the future,” said Robyn Smith-Walley, Chair of WAALI.

 

WAALI will now immediately commence a search for a new Chief Executive Officer.

 

The Western Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute (WAALI) is an independent, for purpose organisation based in Perth, with the aim of inspiring and supporting Aboriginal people to take up leadership opportunities to strengthen their families and communities.
